This hands-on workshop is an initiation into the sacred art of working with candles for spiritual purpose. Rev. Dr. Walton will guide you through the meaning and significance of white and colored candles, the time-honored practice of dressing and blessing a candle, and a curated selection of essential and Biblical oils and their intended spiritual applications. You will also learn the proper method of candle disposal — including specific guidance for blockbuster and black candles. Every participant receives a comprehensive multi-page handout to carry this practice forward.
A Candle Reading may be added to your experience: after burning your candle, Rev. Dr. Walton reads the wax, flame patterns, and residue for divine messages. Class attendees receive a discounted rate. This is a practice you will return to with every season — from Easter and Thanksgiving to Christmas and the New Year.
